FAQs
what is your pricing?
You will be sent back all the info you need to know about pricing and other bits and bobs after you fill out the boxes under the Contact tab and I will be in touch!
How do i Get my photos?
You’ll receive a gorgeous wooden USB with all the edited final high res images along with black and white copies. For wedding clients you also receive a matching wooden keepsake box and I include a selection of printed images for you to treasure. Please no further editing (filters etc.) to the final images you receive, cropping is fine.
Do you deliver every image you shoot, and how many photos do We get?
I include all the photos that turn out great! I do like to include images if someone is pulling a funny face, you never know who may get a laugh out of it.
How many you get will depend on the session you have booked (but you are likely to receive more as I can be quite snap happy):
15 minute sessions, minimum of 20
30 minute sessions, minimum of 40
60 minute sessions, minimum of 8
For weddings -
2 hours, minimum of 100
5 hours, minimum of 300
8 hours, minimum of 700
(All including family photos)
When will I get my photos?
After your shoot, you will receive some sneak peak images usually within 48 hours, then your completed USB gallery within 3 or 4 weeks but usually this is much sooner - If there are delays for any reason, this can happen when I’m busy in wedding seasons and I also have 2 young kiddos, I will keep you updated if it will be longer!
What is your editing style?
I edit my images using my own collection of presets and usually colour grade depending on the feel of the images and lighting: golden hour shoots can be quite warm toned and sunny daytime shoots can be bright and fresh whereas cloudy days can be more moody. All editing is done on Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
How can I be comfoRtable iN front of the camera?
Clients of mine will know I’m not one to make you pose. I’m all about capturing natural moments with no added stress of wondering how you should act! I do like to pose some shots as I know they are nice to have, but I definitely don’t want to put any pressure on. Chill, relax, and enjoy your session and I will help you out with prompts when needed.
What do we wear?
Pinterest will be your best friend when it comes to outfit inspo. I always suggest neutral tones with not too much black. Also patterns/logos, bright colours and bold patterns can be very distracting in images and can be difficult when it comes to editing so the plainer the better. Postie, Cotton On, Farmers are great and have an awesome selection of neutral toned clothing (and they often have sales/cheap items!). I also have a client wardrobe of dresses for maternity shoots if you would like to wear one of those. Make sure your choices are comfortable!
When is best for a newborn session?
Bub is best captured while they’re still in their sleepy (maybe) newborn days, and this can be done any time from when you arrive home until 5 weeks old. I’m happy to pop in once you are settled and ready - I will wear a mask.
Do you always share session images to your social media platforms?
I know not everyone likes to have their special moments shared and I respect that, and I do ask for your permission upon booking! I do like to share them to show the love, and it shows potential clients what I offer.
What are your terms and conditions around payment, cancellations and rescheduling?
After confirmation on shoot details and once it’s all locked in, I’ll send through an invoice with all the info which needs to be paid anytime from issue date to the week before our session.
All session cancellations are able to be rescheduled as all package fees are non refundable once paid.
Please check with me on dates when rescheduling as soon as you can, to make sure I am available or the above terms still apply. This includes for COVID, bad weather etc. — but rain is definitely fun to shoot in!
